1. Who we are

Car rental services are provided by Leva-te Lá, Lda, tax ID 517007897, Bairro Militar, São Tomé, São Tomé e Príncipe. Online payments are collected by Miron & Miron, Lda, majority shareholder of Leva-te Lá, Lda, on its behalf.

2. Driver

Minimum age 21. The driver must show a valid driving licence and ID/passport at pick-up. Only drivers named in the booking or contract may drive.

3. Booking and confirmation

Your booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email. Online bookings require at least 24 hours’ notice.

4. Price

Charged per 24-hour period with a 59-minute grace: €50/day (1–4 days), €45/day (5–9 days), €40/day (10+ days), applied to every day. Unlimited mileage included. No deposit. Out-of-hours handovers (outside 8am–10pm) and deliveries/collections away from the airport cost €35 each, up to two fees per booking. Offer: until 25 December 2026 these fees are waived. Driver/guide: €100 per day.

5. Payment

Pay online when booking (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay via Stripe) or at pick-up. If you pay at pick-up, your card is saved as a guarantee and not charged at booking. For no-shows without cancellation, one rental day may be charged.

6. Cancellation and changes

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before pick-up, with a full refund of online payments. Later cancellations or no-shows may be charged one rental day. Changes are subject to availability.

7. Use of the vehicle

The vehicle may only be used on São Tomé island, responsibly and in line with traffic law. Shipping to another island, subletting, racing, or driving under the influence are prohibited. Fuel is not included: return the car with the same fuel level.

8. Damage, fines and accidents

The customer is responsible for fines during the rental. In case of accident or breakdown, contact us immediately on +239 996 2130 (phone/WhatsApp). Insurance and damage liability are set out in the rental agreement signed at pick-up.

9. Agreement

The rental agreement signed at pick-up prevails over these terms in case of conflict.

10. Governing law
